I guess Belicheat's incredulous decision inspired a lot of fools. Yale was up by 3 w/ a 4th and 22 on their own 25 w/ 2:25 left in the 4th against Vish's Harvard. Yale goes for a fake punt and fails. Harvard wins. I know that Yale is no Harvard but c'mon man!
Les Miles didn't just make an idiot call. He got a miracle heave completed and might have had a shot at a game winning fg from the Ole Miss 32 w/ 1 second on the clock which was stopped as the refs were moving the chains after a 1st down. I'm sure the rest of the free world thought that the kicking team would be running on as the refs were moving the chains and setting the ball down. Instead, the QB spikes the ball w/ 1 second on the clock and game over. The poor kid said that he got the call from the sideline. Coach Miles said that he didn't know about that. He didn't necessarily throw the QB under the bus. He just pussed out and failed to take the blame as this video shows. Someone's in a lot of trouble. You may have won a championship but you're average in the SEC since then and people still think that it was Saban's talent that you won with.
